Stay at Valley House
Find your place to pause.
Whether you’re drawn to the comfort of the farmhouse, the charm of a shepherd’s hut, or the simplicity of wild camping, Valley House offers space to slow down. Each stay is shaped by the land – calm, considered, and rooted in the quiet rhythm of the valley.
At the heart of Valley House Farm stands the Victorian farmhouse. Step inside and you’ll find natural textures, soft linens, and a sense of calm in every corner. Each room is a little sanctuary: flooded with morning light, filled with touches of comfort, and shaped by the slower rhythm of countryside living.
Whether you’re curled up with a book in the snug, enjoying a lazy breakfast in the farmhouse dinning room, or watching mist roll over the meadows from your bedroom window — you’ll feel held, rested, and at ease.
Our guest rooms are intentionally simple, with just what’s needed and nothing more:
- Spacious beds dressed in natural cotton and linen
- En-suite bathrooms with warm, earthy tones
- Cosy details like armchairs, throws, and views over the garden or farmers fields
- Tea and coffee essentials, plus thoughtful touches from the farm
Set within the meadows, beside hedgerows and just a short walk from the River Waveney, our small, peaceful camping area is designed for those who want to switch off, slow down, and soak up the landscape.
You’ll pitch your tent on soft grass, surrounded by birdsong and wide skies — no caravans, no crowds, just a handful of likeminded guests sharing the quiet.
What’s included:
- Flat, well-spaced pitches with plenty of room to breathe
- Fire pit access for stargazing and slow evenings by the flames
- Simple, clean facilities including toilets and hot showers
- Drinking water taps and washing-up areas nearby
- Optional breakfast add-ons from the farmhouse kitchen
Each hut is a warm and private hideaway, built for stillness and simplicity. With wood-burning stoves, soft bedding, and windows that open straight onto open sky, they’re the perfect place to step away from the noise and reconnect with nature.
Wake to birdsong, spend your days wandering meadows and reading under trees, then return to your hut to light the fire, pour a drink, and watch dusk fall in silence.
Inside, you’ll find:
- A full-sized bed with natural linen sheets and wool blankets
- A compact wood burner to keep you cosy, whatever the weather
- Thoughtfully designed storage and soft lighting
- Tea, coffee, and local touches to welcome you in
